OVERLOAD SYSTEM
The Liftalert is a cost-effective instrument that increases forklift safety. It features a visual and audible alarm at the approach of overload and at the overload point.
The RDS LIFTALERT is an operator friendly product that has been specifically designed for use on forklift trucks working in a despatch yard or warehouse environment.
Using a sensor to measure hydraulic pressure in the system, the Liftalert informs the operator of the load as a percentage of the preset maximum load capacity. When this maximum is approached and at the overload point an internal (and optional external) alarm will sound to further inform the operator of load status.
There is also the option of an external light bar to indicate load from 50% through to 110% of load capacity.
